Between a low over France and a high over north-eastern Europe, we will still be caught in a slightly foehn-like south-westerly current on Wednesday. Significant weather phenomena are still not an issue. Away from the main Alpine ridge, where light accumulation precipitation is quite possible, the weather will remain stable for the time being and there may be some major clearing again. Only on Thursday will the low-pressure system move closer and direct a weak cold front over us. This means that there may be a brief spell of precipitation, with the snow line dropping to around 1200m above sea level. On Friday, we will briefly be on the back of the front in a lively north-westerly current, which could bring odd snow showers. Especially in the mountains, it will temporarily cool down to a clearly wintry level. But that will be the end of the possible precipitation, with flawless fine weather returning in time for the weekend as the air pressure will rise.
